Small Antennas
The working group on Small Antennas started in the ACE network of excellence founded by the European Union. Now the WG on Small Antennas is one of the technological working groups of the European Association on Antennas and Propagation. We are a research and development consortium composed out of leading European labs in the field of small antennas. We believe that our website can be the anchor point for all your questions related to small antenna.
The Main Mission
Purpose of the Working Group
- Structuring the European Small Antennas community
- Platform for networking and joint research.
- Small Antennas, not limited to electrically small antennas
- Conduct, collect and disseminate research in the area of Small antennas
- Foster international relations
Focus areas: Small Antennas for Millimeter-Wave Applications, UWB antennas, Terminal antennas, Implantable and wearable antennas
Activities of the WG:
- 2 Convened Sessions at EuCAP 2019:
- CS29 Small Antenna Designing Methods and Measurement (12 papers)
- CS45 Recent Advances in Small Antennas (5 papers)
Planned activities:
- Promote scientific exchange by short-term Scientific Missions
- Support the organizers of EuCAP2020 in the area of small antennas
- Promote the activity of the group at www.small-antennas.eu
